Our story

Who we are

Avos wines are part of our Kocuvan family, which works daily on its vineyard farm in Sovjak for nature-friendly production of quality wines. With knowledge, modern approaches and technology, we are focused on the production of white, fresh, fruity and varietal-emphasized wines that reflect the long-standing tradition and the environment of production.

We want nature to show itself in all its diversity and beauty through our wines, so we observe nature, try to understand it and respect it.

Life is what gives life, so we look at our vineyards as a living space. In them, with our work and knowledge, we achieve that the soil is more alive and vital, the vines are more resistant, and the wines are fuller and more diverse. And precisely because of the desire to preserve nature, we have completely renounced the use of herbicides and insecticides in the past.

Quality

Because we believe in quality, Avos wines are produced exclusively from hand-picked grapes grown in our vineyards, which we ourselves process and age all the way to the bottle. Constantly high quality wines are achieved through the use of modern technology and the constant acquisition of new knowledge.

When producing wine, we rely not only on knowledge but also on tradition, so our wines are characterized by emphasized variety and freshness. The wines convince by the fact that, despite their freshness, they are aromatic and full of flavour.

Satisfy all tastes

With our wines, we want to satisfy both lovers of dry wines as well as those who prefer wines with residual sugar, so we offer dry and semi-sweet wines. We currently offer Sauvignon, Laški Riesling, Rhenish Riesling, Chardonnay, Yellow Muscat, Green Sylvan, Muscat Ottonel, Traminer and Pinot Gris.

Sustainable development

Juicy energy is what gives us and our vines strength, so we made sure that, with the help of solar energy, we ourselves produce more electricity than is consumed during the entire production and processing of grapes, thus ensuring a low carbon footprint.

The sustainable approach is the one we believe in and live in our everyday life, in the vineyard and in the actual processing of grapes into wine.
